So much of our lives is spent looking outward for stimulation, answers to problems and healing. Our bodies naturally offer us answers to many of life's questions if we take the time to slow down and listen to what we truly need. Cultivate the interdependent relationships of the body, mind and heart by directly experiencing the wisdom of the body through breath, movement, and stillness practices.
This foundational series will:
Examine relationships of lower, middle, and upper body pathways through explorations of movement and yoga.
Explore the nervous system’s relationship to the musculoskeletal body.
Show you how to hone your ability to self-regulate emotions to invite a more calm and connected sense of whole-being into your life.
Follow natural developmental processes of transitioning from the ground upwards in movements
Provide an opportunity to relearn, repattern and reestablish ease, comfort, and fluid stability.
Build upon the previous week’s concepts providing foundations for understanding in each stage of our process.
Feel the possibilities of living in the present moment. Hear the wisdom of the compassionate heart as it speaks from this present, embodied place. Move back into the world to explore the experiences from this class in your daily living.
